Where is it?
Campus Trip 1 in February will be held on the banks of Lake Taylor (approximately 2 hours North West of Christchurch).
Who is this for?
Campus is for those interested or currently working and seeking to maximise their impact in purpose driven organisations or projects. You might be working a corporate job and looking for other opportunities, or thinking about starting something.
What age range is this for?
Campers must be over the age of 18, there is no upper limit but a reasonable level of fitness is necessary to participate in the event.
How many people per trip?
There are up to 8 space available per trip, plus the Campus team.
What shall I bring/pack?
You will need to bring warm clothes suitable for three nights, a sleeping bag, head torch and personal toiletries. A full packing list will be provided.
What time do we start and finish?
Campus 1.0 starts at 7.30pm Thursday at the Lake Taylor Doc site and concludes at 2pm on Sunday.
Is there phone reception?
There is no cell reception or wifi at the campsite.
What type of food will be served?
All meals are provided, we aim to supply predominantly vegetarian meals and can cater for specific dietary requirements on request.
Why only $100?
We want Campus to be as accessible as possible, yet still financially sustainable. This course relies on donations from past participants, we request that you donate an equivalent amount to the value you receive from the course. Scholarships and discounted donations are available if this is a barrier.
